Testing, testing, testing.

How was that for an exciting post???

Went to Brunswick today. Did a little shopping. Not much. Picked up a few things for Julia's birthday. Got something for Caleb's birthday. Papa John's for supper. Double Beef Pizza. Absolutely amazing!

My brother, Billy, was on the Channel 6 TV show, "207", last night with his band, "Three Button Deluxe". I was so proud! (And Eben was quite excited about it, too.)

We're going to the Samoset Christmas Party tonight. Sirloin. Samoset Chicken. Baked Stuffed Haddock. Bacon Wrapped Scallops. Dessert. Sounds good to me.

Faithbooking Bible Study in the morning. Freedom in Christ is the topic. I love the Faithbooking meetings.

I'm looking for the 2005 Hallmark Ornament "Lighthouse Greetings". If anyone knows where I can get one, let me know. They are sold out on-line, in Brunswick, Portland, and Bangor. There are some on E-bay, but they are going for more than the original asking price. I had wanted to get one in memory of my Dad, but I thought I'd wait until after Christmas when they went on sale for 1/2 price. Big mistake!!!

Here is the MI-5 from my brother's site. I've condensed the actual questions, simply because I don't remember them verbatim, and I didn't want to take the time to write them down! To see the real questions, and my brother's answers, go to www.billyrhythm.com/traa.

1. When was the last time you were really sick? Not just the sniffles, but really sick?

1. Late in the year 2004 I had an infection in my gum. It made me feel miserable! I had a low-grade fever, but I was just shaking all over. Couldn't get warm. And I think there's nothing worse than tooth pain. I ended up having the tooth pulled several weeks later, after a round of antibiotics.

2. Do you do any superstitious things?

2. I don't do anything superstitious. Like Bill, I'm not into luck. I don't remember where I got that rabbit thing--it's something I heard in Mr. Borgerson's class, I think, but I'm not sure. I also know the thing about all the numbers being lined up on the clock--that started when I was a cheerleader, and if the clock on the scoreboard stopped and all the numbers were the same, you made a wish (or a prayer!) for the team. Another one that cheerleaders did was if the clasp of your necklace was down by the pendant, you were suppsed to close your eyes, make a wish, and with your eyes still closed, move the clasp back to where it was supposed to be. (FYI--cheerleaders are NOT supposed to wear necklaces to begin with.)

3. What is the last book you read?

3. I'm almost done with "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. It's been really, really good, but since I haven't finished it yet, I guess it probably doesn't count. The last book I actually finished was "Prairie Storm" by Catherine Marshall--a Christian romance set on the 1880s prairie.

4. How often do you change your windshield wipers?

4. I have never changed my windshield wipers. Dwane changes them for me when we have those tell-tale streaks.

5. How many phones do you have in your house? Which one do you use the most?

5. Let's see. We have a fax/phone in the computer oom, a cordless in the kitchen, and one in the bedroom. The one in the bedroom is the only one that works when the power goes out. By far, I use the cordless the most.
